Randy Couture Chokes Out Boxing Legend James Toney

For months James “Lights Out” Toney has been saying how boxing is still superior to MMA, and that he would prove it once and for all in his fight against MMA legend Randy “The Natural” Couture. Needless to say, he was unable to deliver.
Toney circled Couture and was quickly mounted at the beginning of the first round. Couture landed some shots to the face of Toney, as Toney tried to use the cage to get to his feet. Unsuccessful in his attempt to stand, Couture attempts to choke Toney out, but Toney held on. As Couture let go of the choke, he dropped a bomb on the face of Toney, and as Couture flattened Toney out he was able to choke Toney out at 3:19 of round one.
